What’s happening in Berrima in April? April is Heritage month!

It’s autumn in the Southern Highlands!! Be prepared for cool weather and colourful leaves!

29 April 2018 – 11am at The Story Centre “Bunty Bailey’s Adventures in Berrima” book launch. Bring a rug and hear the story of “Bunty and the Bushrangers”. See old items from times past explained and demonstrated, all at 1a Market Place, Berrima.

29 April 2018 – Berrima School Markets – lots of stalls and things to do.

29 April 2018 – Harper’s Mansion – explore a home of the 1830s, try your skill at the maze, walk in the lovely garden and look out for the well.

Every day you can visit Berrima Court House for an eye-opening experience of the re-enactment of the famous Dunkley murder case of 1843. Watch the Judge hand down his chilling findings on the murderers and what fate will befall them in the end! There is a short film and audio visual presentations and a room of historical police and Corrective Services memorabilia to see. You can stand in the holding cells where infamous criminals were held before sentencing. Not to be missed!
